The Lands of the Lions

Once the Lions controlled Albion, but a split in the faction caused the creation of the Harts faction who fought the Lions for their lands and defeated them on the battlefield.

The Lions then departed from Erdreja, through the Vale of Avalon in Albion to the realm of Avalon. Other than the Vale, this mystical land was only reachable through void gates. Avalon was constructed by the power of the seven sleepers, who dreamt the land into existance.

Soon after the Lions took control of Avalon, Seven Nosta-Kar Lords came through a Gateway claiming to have controlled Avalon in the past and wanting it back. During the ensuing war, the Nosta-Kar were able to reanimate their Ancestor known as the Progenitor. The Lions fought bravely, and eventually defeated the invading army of Nosta-Kar, only to find that the army that had invaded was only a scouting force and the actual assault force that followed outnumbered even the totality of Legions in all the Heartlands."

Lord Rhino took the decision to wake the sleepers and destroy the land of Avalon. He chose to stay behind, his six bravest followers electing to stay with him, as his life was linked with the land, and only Holy Isle escaped from Avalon's destruction.

Holy Isle then travelled through the void and eventually splashed down into Erdreja, south of the Heartlands and near to Mauritania, the islands of the Unicorns. After it had splashed down the 12 islands of Lantia sprung up around it.
