Rat like humanoids from beneath the earth.
These fairly intelligent creatures live mostly beneath the ground or in caves far from most of humanity.
They act like rats in both their habits and their physcial appearance, often being dirty and using rubbish and trash for clothing or equipment.
Skaven are keen followers of Chaos, they often have rocks which are powered by Chaos energy which are called Warpstones.
This powerful chaos magic enables them to build magical items such as warpfire throwers and enchanted weapons aiding their otherwise meager attacks.
Though not often seen in large numbers above ground, once beneath it they are a force to be reckoned with.
