Skeleton
Description
Skeletons are the second weakest of all undead. They are the reanimated long dead remains of humans and the like. Often found in large numbers they resemble the fleshless skeletons of any of the normal races of Erdreja.
Though they move more swiftly than their Zombie counterparts they are just as mindless.
There are many variations on the normal Skeleton, with more powerful skeletal champions and non-human variations. These variations are often immune to normal damage, have enchanted weapons and are far harder to dismiss.
Strengths
- Skeltons are immune to sharp weapons. This is because sharp weapon just glance of their boney frames.
- Skeletons do not react to movement, but are attuned to detecting life, so hiding from them can be difficult.
- Skeletons also take a great deal of damage to dispose of. As they do not feel pain it is often of little use to attack any specific location. Instead rendering the corpse to pieces is needed to stop it.
- Being undead they are not usually affected by any mind affecting spells and effects.
Weaknesses
- Skeletons are easily dismissed however. A strong incantor can dismiss a Zombie on his own, or a couple of weak incantors can do the same.
- Skeletons are mindless reanimated corpses with no self-awareness. They have no thought for their own existance and can easily be destroyed if handled correctly.
