Changes of Ownership

When an item has been stolen in character it must be taken to Games Control as soon as possible. In order to prevent accusations of out of character theft, both the original owner and the new owner of the item should go to Games Control, with both the original and new phys. reps. If you have stolen an item in character, you must not remove any lammies from the item yourself. The staff at Games Control will remove the item card and register you as the new owner of that item. They will then put the lammie on a suitable phys rep. that belongs to you and, if necessary, hold the old phys. rep. for collection by the original owner. A special powers card does not signify ownership of an item, nor does possession of any special item card that is torn or damaged, or is not attached to a phys. rep. Any special creature or powers cards that have a character's name on them represent abilities innate to that character and cannot be stolen. If you have lost an item that was carded, ask at Games Control to see if your phys. rep. has been handed in during a change of ownership. If Games Control have not received your item, report the loss at the security point. The security staff will take your details and will make every effort to inform you when your item is found. It is often worth allowing a little extra time for your item to reach Games Control and be registered for change of ownership before reporting your loss to security.
