Hello, my name if you hadn't guess it yet is Roderic and yes I'm a Troll. "Do you want to make something of it, ha thought not!" I've been asked to join the Rune team to give you my opinions on various topical points in, under and around the world of Erdreja.
Remember that these are only my opinions and therefore they count, cos I said so and if any of you really want to disagree, then I'm sure we can discuss it in an amicable fashion!
Right then here goes. Hmmm...
Well the first one I can think of, and this one makes my blood boil, are people messing with all our magic and history.
I've seen some things in my time, but for those stupid souls, time is running out. If they keep on messing with the balance of natural things, for their petty greed and tin pot power, they will pay and dearly too.
Why over just this last year, I have witnessed many things that I had to shake my head at and tut about.
In one case, I saw a large group steal an ancient alter-chest and leg it from the temple. Mind you they did return it when they disturbed the ancient Mummy resting in it. They will pay, mark my words. I would not be surprised if they end up suffering for their actions.
In another case, a small group tried to borrow the Oracle and study it. Do people have no respect for such an ancient and powerful item such as this, it might of been offended and what would have happened if Orcus or Spittle had caught them! Splat! I tell ya.
Rituals. Now, don't get me started on rituals. Aargghh, one of these days someone is going to go and blow up a circle with their actions, if they are not careful, over use you might think.
No, through trying to gain too much out at one time, that's when it will happen. I hope when it does it blows them all to pieces with it. Maybe that will then finally show them all.
My dear old mum used to tell me, when I was very little, "What goes around, comes around." I believe this to be very true, it just takes longer for some than others.
I must calm down, a guild healer told me that getting over angry is not good for my regernation, time for another topic, I think.
"Someone's got a real sword"! Now we all know, being the mighty warriors that we are, it's illegal to have a real weapon at the events. The Ancestors would not allow thism and if anyone did try to bring one in, they would make sure that the person responsible would end up being banished from the land.
People being special. Ha, at the rate it's going the only way to end up being special will be to stay normal. I've always found that it's a lot more fun and creative to act the part.
I mean lets say that for example, I wanted to be nice to somebody, well I would act it out and not just rip their head off. See, I can roleplay too. I don't need to have tonnes of magic items or special powers ot make me the Half troll that I am today.
It's my opinion that people who need all these special powers and magic items are obviously lacking in certain other areas, if you know what I mean,
