Name: Erin.

Who she is

She's an ex-film/media student, currently working in the box office of the traverse theatre in Edinburgh and (in her spare time) working as producer on a short film (for next years festival).

What she's like

She's kinda short, round and cute. Has a great laugh and is generally pretty cool (but I'm probably biased)

How we met

She was in Gina's film/media class back in 1st year, and edited Brig when Gina's flatmate Simon worked on it. She became friends with Gina through Simon (Gina doesn't even remember her from film&media).
I met her for about 3 minutes one time and gave her my email address. About a year later she emailed me, asking me to tell Gina that Neil Gaiman was gonna be in Edinburgh. Unfortunately, the email was delayed by about 24 hours, so I'd already seen Neil the previous evening (and very good he was too). But I mailed her back and we chatted and it went on from there.

How on earth did I persuade her to go out with me

In her original email she said "You probably don't remember me." and I replied "Of course I remember you, you're the short cute one." Apparently flattery will get you everywhere.
